Vision
Prepare students for success through a rigorous education with high academic standards in schools where students want to learn, parents want their children to attend, and teachers want to teach.
Community Based Instruction
Instructor: Diane Driggers
Our students practice job skills in different school and community sites.  Skills that students practice for CBI may include making purchase choices, staying within individual budget amounts, determining coin and dollar amounts for spending, caring for and carrying purchases, good social interactions and skills around others.
Job skills within community areas might include zoning grocery and retail sections of different stores, assisting with recycling collections, interacting with customers and employees, social greetings and farewells, safety in public areas, breaking down cardboard, other tasks as needed by our community partners.
Some annual activities that our class participates with are listed below:

1.  December trip to Mount Berry Square Mall, where purchased gifts are exchanged with one another, for experiencing U. S. cultural traditions of giving to others during Christmas.
2.  End-of-the-year cookout at a community park

We continue to express our many thanks to all of the wonderful employees who assist and interact with our students weekly while we visit different business sites within Chattooga County.
